Scrum Poker

Agile Planning, Dealt Like a Pro

Scrum Poker (also called Planning Poker) is a consensus-based estimation technique used by Agile teams to size user stories and tasks. Each player votes privately with a card — then everyone reveals at once to surface assumptions and reach agreement.

How it works: The Dealer presents each story, players pick a card representing their estimate, the Dealer reveals all votes, and the team discusses any outliers until they converge on a single number.
